Janine BjornsonAlis paint is a beautiful traditional finish for adobe buildings, ranging from the southwest USA to North Africa. Alis can be used on conventional wall surfaces as well as on natural buildings such as straw bale or cob. In addition to being natural and beautiful, Alis is non-toxic, inexpensive, easy to make, and fun to do! In this hands-on workshop Janine Björnson of clay, bones, and stones will show you how to make a healthy, beautiful and VOC-free paint from scratch, similar to American Clay. Janine is a natural builder, educator, and consultant. She has devoted the last 12 years to immersing herself in the world of natural materials and the knowledge of how we can shape dwellings that are healthy, healing, inspiring, and beautiful. |
